About

Naweeri Africa is a Nairobi based creative studio led by Richard Walker, Creative Director. We come in at any stage: research, product design, marketing and communication strategy, creative platforms, through to finished creative, websites and applications.

Richard spent 2000 to 2021 at WPP Scangroup, ultimately as Creative Group Head. He leads a team of designers, web builders, local language copywriters and strategists, working remotely with clients internationally and with deep expertise in East Africa.

Britam Friends for Life print artwork Britam 2024 · Brand campaign One promise for a whole financial group: Friends for Life, launched and carried through a year of product and subsidiary work. [Front door screens, pending client clearance] Sanlam Allianz 2026 · Platform A user first front door for the whole portfolio. Research, naming, personas, goal linked calculators, build and email. [Pitch visual identity proposal] Kenya Ports Authority 2023/24 · Pitch strategy Pitch lead and win strategy for a national creative and advertising tender, as consultant to Cape Media. Won. XanaLife shopping bag, brand book mockup XanaLife 2023 · Naming and identity Localisation, vision and promise, then the name, the identity and the flagship shop launch. Agri Africa expo LinkedIn cover Agri Africa 2025 · Website and acquisition Persona led website and email programme. Six months on, the right partner came calling. EPIC university recruiter page EPIC Events Africa 2023 · Funnel and email Recruiter personas, cold email and a conversion funnel. More than 20 bookings in 12 weeks.
